Senior Shanley Woods eclipsed the 1000th point milestone at Zanesville on Wednesday night as the varsity dominated 71-32.
Woods led the way with 22 points. During the 3rd quarter, Woods nailed a triple to earn her 1000th point and become the 9th player in program history to reach the milestone.
Junior Lindsey Garrison had 14 points, while junior Asia Roby scored 8 points, pulled down 5 rebounds, and dished out 5 assists.
The varsity returns home on Friday, Jan. 31 for Senior Night against Musselman.
JV RECAP
JV continued their winning streak with a 50-21 win at Zanesville.
Freshman Mary Derrow led the way with 13 points. Sophomore Abby Barki knocked in 3 3-pointers to go with her 11 points. Sophomore Kailyn Wilson finished with 9 points.
